Another birthday in a row is behind us. This time we were engaged by a cheerful team from Slovenia who were on vacation in Croatia. Everything went great, so the team thanked us for the great food and our staff.
From dinner to party
We usually do food, drinks and desserts with service at birthday parties all over Kvarner and Croatia. Sometimes the focus is on food, dinner or lunch, if the focus is on the youngest and older celebrants.
In this case, it was a young team, so the focus was not only on food, but also on a party with music and a DJ.
Catering for a celebration in a holiday home
Our task was to prepare a buffet table with service for 20 people. Our coordinator was in charge of communication with the client, and the chef, waiter and bartender served everything agreed on the spot.
It was a 30th birthday celebration, which required a fair party. He was in charge of a DJ who maintained a great atmosphere throughout the evening.
The Slovenians rented a luxurious villa for their vacation, where the birthday celebration took place.
Delight on a plate
The celebrant set a slightly more difficult task before us. The desire was a slightly more sophisticated menu with several gourmet delicacies. Sandwiches with istrian ox beef boškarin and vegetables, istrian sausages, a selection of gourmet cheeses and a mixed salad were served as a cold appetizer.
The traditional istrian dish, homemade pljukanci with boškarin from Istrian ox and a special sauce, proved to be a real hit.
Meat lovers could enjoy the main dish, ramsteak tagliat. The side dish was potatoes with roasted vegetables.
Sweet table
What’s a birthday party without something sweet? None, so we made sure that the celebrants enjoyed 6 types of cakes. They were sacher muffins, tiramisu in a glass, princess donut, rum balls, fruit baskets and schwarzwald cubes.
