We truly enjoyed cooking for this family. They showed great interest in local cuisine, love Croatia, and were truly excellent hosts at this private dining experience.
They hired us for a private dinner at the holiday home they had rented during their stay in our country. This fairytale holiday home is situated in a small village, nestled in nature at the edge of the settlement.
It was a great pleasure to cook in such a setting, and that pleasure was heightened by the tourists’ interest in local gastronomy.
Private dining experience
The guests wanted to experience local cuisine and homemade gastronomy. We achieved this through a three-course meal consisting of an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. We also presented local wines paired with the food.
From platters to local pasta and tiramisu
For the appetizer, we served a platter featuring the most famous local products. It included cheese, prosciutto, and homemade sausages, complemented by nuts and fruit… Our guests were most delighted by our version of tuna pâté, which we served with crackers.
Main course was a typical local dish. It featured homemade pasta known as “pljukanci” served with istrian ox beef known as “boškarin”.
Finally, for dessert, we served a classic: tiramisu—a dish our guests praised highly.
Private dining experience was unforgettable. Thanks our clients for the trust.
